What's the point of Glory currency from PvP?

Seeing that 2x Glory week is starting today, this seems to be a good time to ask. What are you spending your Glory currency on? The only items that seem to be of any value are banner artifacts - and we can't get them unless we finished the PvP campaign years ago. Armor is not worth mentioning, I remember the same items being in the store in 2015.
Are we really destined to use it for PvP potions only?
Please refrain from the comments about how no one plays PvP anyway :)

    I am pretty sure that many guilds out there need glory for certain buildings.

    Building towers in the stronghold. But since siege is basically non existent there isn't much point

    That's what I thought, it is kinda pointless. If they just enabled buying banners with glory it would have been a different story, and people would play PvP more. But decent rewards are not in cryptic dictionary unfortunately
