Companion enhancements question

caelia#3631 caelia Member Posts: 140 Arc User
Hopefully someone here can answer my question about companion enhancement powers. Based on the description given in the dev blog "there has to be a companion near" and the list of enhancement power does not say which companion has that particular enhancement power.

So my question is: Do you have to have the companion that has this power near or just having any summoned companion give you the bonus enhancement power?

What it means is if you have that ability enable, any summoned (by you) non-augment companion is near you can trigger it.

It should work with augments too. You just need to have any companion summoned. Should work, but often hard to test it.

Considering it actually displays as a buff, it CAN be tested. That said, Augment Companions are currently capable of keeping up with the player for the most part, falling behind very little at most when at the fastest mount speed regardless of how far you travel. Combat Companions tend to just "warp" to you too.

As for whether or not, say Armor Break for example, works with ANY Companion summoned and nearby, the answer is yes. All you have to do is have that particular Enhancement equipped in the menu.
