Heroic shards

Why isn't there a way to get more shards other than the Zen market? The amount given is terrible.

    There are several ways, but none are fast for an individual, building a guild is a group effort. That being said to get Heroic Shards:

    1. Complete 1 T3 (big) heroic encounter in the stronghold, collecting this reward provides 10 shards per day. Big heroics are Bickering Beholders, Lake Crisis, Canyon Crisis, No Sympathy, Giants Among the Dead, and one more who’s name escapes me (bottom left of the map next to No Sympathy).

    2. Complete stronghold quests form The Builder. There are only so many per week that can be done and most reward 10 shards.

    3. As you know, purchase Stronghold Chest of Power. It is best to open these during a 2x shard event.

    4. have many characters. Even the weak toon can get stuff with some hit. In the peak days of SH building, players switch characters and all earn shards.
    e.g.
    Player 1 brings in his A-character and Player 2,3,4,5,... brings in their C characters.
    Then, Player 2 brings in his A-character and Player 1,3,4,5,... brings in their C characters.
    Then, Player 3 brings in ......

    Aaaaah, the good old days. When you had HE farms in SHs with maxed instance to grind out shards. Rotating toons, etc.

    A lot easier in larger guilds obviously.
