  A rank 8 should complete the quest, but not the plus one variant. I tested this yesterday actually on the Fizz fizz quest, should work for what you're doing too? Just cross reference the ingredients with the gamepedia to make sure you make the correct potions.

  And I did only progress with +1 for Guidance and the normal one for Fizz Fizz, so it should work like that ^
