Since people are playing, the issue is not in the server end. Since the client program crashed, it happened in your end. However, the client program is still Cryptic's program. Anyway, I would check if you have the latest graphic driver of the graphic card. If not, install it to see what happens. If yes, well, good luck and hope Cryptic figures out what the client program issue is.

yeah something happened game was playing great no problems now all i get is crash since new patch i just updated all drivers didnt help everything seems ok except for login maybe someone has fixed the problem and can tell me for sure what it is thanks for info
I suggest you skip the ARC launcher and try executing the Neverwinter.exe in the folder directly. If that don't work, @thatonecleric#0792 told me on another thread, "steam worked for me. just took a little bit to make it go through then it continued to work"
Anyone having more than one character, I would like to know if you are experiencing this chat/mail bug.
I have the exact problem on Windows 10. I have uninstalled Logotech software as suggested in another thread and re-verfified files. Nothing has worked.
I also have the same issue on my Win10 laptop, I use when I travel.
So it isn't machine related as they are competely different hardware configurations.
I deleted the game, and then installed both Arc and Steam, and it crashes in the same spot off both clients.
Sorry that didn't work either. I too am running an old desktop with Windows 7 64 bit. It is not the OS, I have Windows 10 on my laptop but the GPU is too weak. My husband has a Windows 10 machine (for work) but he has other OS that he boots on there as well. He will be working on debugging our end of Cryptic's error tomorrow, while I am playing. Maybe he can tell the developers where they messed up.
