Recent LAG anyone?

Hi all, I'm a "new" player (new in the sense that I played only for around 6 months if that can be considered new)
I played with all max settings since I started and I never experienced any frame drops or lag (i7-8th Gen, RTX 2060, 16gb RAM), but recently the game became unplayable! I don't mean the standard "nerd looses a few FPS problems" I mean I LITERALLY can't move when I login, I walk for a few seconds and then I get teleported back to where I spawned, when I open my inventory nothing will load inside, I don't know if a claimed my VIP keys until a few minutes have passed, I can't queue into any dungeon because I get teleported into the void when I join a map...

Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know what's happening and tbh I don't know where to ask about it...

I hope someone here can help. Thank You in advance!

I am not getting much rubber banding at the moment. Some at peak times (like Boxing day evening when there were a lot of players on). Peak time problems are probably down to cryptic. Some zones are worse than others. I always find the winter festival is bad for this for instance. Most of the rubber banding I do get, however, seems more likely to be down to my local connection and ISP.

I thought it was my ISP at first but i doubt it, i had no problems with my connection during summer time (when there are more tourists in the whole country then there are people who are actually living in it) then my ISP usually struggles and internet problems are common and a daily occurrence. But since there were no such problems then, i highly doubt there would be a reason for high network traffic now...

The chance is it is not your ISP.
    It can be:
    1. the server is busy.
    2. the server process handling your instance is busy.
    3. somewhere in the route between your ISP and Cryptic is busy or broken (there are many gateways in between).

Which instance were you in when you experienced rubberband? If it is in Winter Festival, that is common when the instance is loaded and people are doing gift sharing.

    Reboot your computer.
    Reboot your router.

before logging in go into the options menu and turn off/deselect/uncheck "On-demand patching"
It worked for me when I was having that type of problem.

Also, since I started using "force verify" every once in a while it seems to have helped resolve other disconnect issues I used to have.

Before I did the above two things I used to be severely limited in what I could do in group content or in high traffic areas before getting kicked from the server or something.

I still get rubber-banding in the high traffic areas and I still get disconnected for no apparent reason in certain dungeons that I do. Although, since MOD 16 I have only been mysteriously disconnected once in the tiamat trial which just happened this week since I started solo queuing the random trial one.

Not winter festival but Neverwinter in general

I'll try it, it helped in other steam games I was wondering where that verify button was
