Caer-Koenig Fashion Items Not Being Received

I was encouraged by GM Zildross and then GM Cyrelm to post this information here.

The NPC "Atenas Swift" in Caer-Koenig sells a variety of fashion items:

• Icewind Merchant's Tunic
  
• Icewind Merchant's Garb
  
• Icewind Merchant's Hat
  
• Icewind Peasant's Tunic
  
• Icewind Peasant's Garb
  
• Icewind Peasant's Hat
  
• Tunic of the Wild Noble
  
• Garb of the Wild Noble
  
• Headdress of the Wild Noble
  
• Tunic of the Yeti Hunter (already owned)
  
• Garb of the Yeti Hunter (already owned)
  
• Headdress of the Yeti Hunter (already owned)
  

These items can be purchased with Black Ice.

Purchasing these items results in an icon in the lower right corner of the screen indicating that the item has been received. However, the item does not show up in either the Inventory or the Fashion Tab (under Appearance where it belongs, though I checked Gear as well and it's not there).

I tried purchasing these items from another player through the Auction House. Once again, the icon appears indicating the item was received when retrieved from mail. However, once again, the items do not appear in the Inventory or Fashion Tab.

GM Cyrelm wrote me: "Based on the information you supplied it looks like the issue is the result of a bug." Unfortunately, the missing items were not restored to my character. Instead, I was directed to post here, and then my ticked was marked "Solved."

I realize these are Fashion items and not directly related to game play. However, they do cost my character resources and I would like to have the items that I've purchased.
