Hell Pit Event Package reduced total rewards of event

Hello,

today I was unable to get the hell pit quest from the Soul Broker. I suspect that this is because I bought the Event Package from the Zen shop which gave me 14 days standing (as I just beat Wilfred (?) the Hell Champion yesterday) and now the event is over (for me).

The problem is that I bought the Package on day 3, so now I don't have the full set of rewards.

Currently I have 33 Brimstone tokens, 4 Token of flames (1 in inventory + 3 spent) and 1 Participation token. At a minimum I am out 3 Token of Flames and some amount of Brimstone tokens.

This person (who bought the package on Day 1) also received a second participation token.

Is it possible for me to get the missing event tokens?

PS As it stands, I would strongly advise that no one buy this package since all it does is save you a few minutes each day.

    OK, here is the same twitch streamer where he discovers the same problem as I faced. (starts around 4:40).

    It would have been good if the event package had clearly stated 'shortens the event' as people are buying it thinking that it extends the event.

    I've had the same experience - I bought the package about day 3, have defeated Wilfred and I'm now locked out. I did not receive a second token.

    Yes, same situation here. Bought pack on third day of event, and yesterday I had no quest to pick up. That's dumb. Is this intended? So I ended up with only 4 tokens of flames?? I mean, really...

    Yes, same situation here. Bought pack on third day of event, and after defeating Wilfred I had no quest to pick up. I recieved 33 Tokens of Brimstone.. thats it.. it says: Day of completion 22... a i cant pick the quest anymore

    People ending up with one additional participation token seems like a bug. Don't think the "buyout" option was meant to allow people to get the lego horse one event earlier.

    Not trying to get a second participation token. I just want to be able to earn tokens of flame at all! I literally paid zen to REDUCE my rewards.

    Same problem here too. Bought the pack on the 3rd or 4th day, beat Wilfred. Now im locked out since days (gonna be the 4th day this afternoon after reset). Finished with 1 participation, 3 token of flames, 30 brimstones.
    Did I really spend Zen to get less reward???
    Return my Zen and take away all the currencies (they are still unspent), I don't care them.

    This Thurs would normally be when non-buyout players can start getting the quest for flame tokens. Hopefully devs can get a fix in this weeks' patch so buyout players can pick up the quest.
