Allow Players to Choose Companion Gear After FE's More Than Once [Suggestion]

Just like most people, I started running Stardock quests in hopes of better gear dropping (specifically for me the companion gear). I had taken the time to do some math (yes, math) to figure out which three companion gears I specifically needed to better my toon and in my opinion give me the best stats I could get. I was ecstatic when I completed my first 4 FEs because they give you a chest that lets you choose which companion gear you need. SWEET! One down, two to go.

But since then things have become increasingly frustrating. For the life of me, I cannot get the last piece I need (it's the Ivy Grown Grimoire in case anyone is curious). I have run Intelligence quests everyday...done my WE's and FE's when possible, and even run my MEs in hopes of that grimoire dropping...and its JUST WONT DROP.

So what do I do? I have all these Fragments from finishing FE's but I cannot get any more chests to choose a companion gear? If that's the case then why the F@%& am i running these over and over? Am I just doomed because the RNG gods refuse to give me the gear I need?

Here's my suggestion: maybe after a certain amount of runs, allow the players to choose another gear themselves? Maybe it's more than 4 FEs, maybe the second one is 8? I don't know but it is frustrating for players like me who have TERRIBLE RNGs to just run things over and over with no end in sight...

    It was very short sighted IMO that they did this. If you are just running one toon, in 12 days you're done with that update.

    The gear is BtA. Run it on another character.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    I don't have another character, i have one, I have no interest in running a second toon...but also why should this be the solution? That doesn't make any sense being forced to start running em on two toons everyday just to up my chances? There should be something implemented allowing players to choose after awhile, like i suggested, even if it is at a very HEAVY price.

    Because at this point your only option is to run it on more than one character to get more than one piece.
