GOOD: Difficulty is reduced and even lower tier players will be able to complete it in a reasonable time frame. This is good!
This time around the event felt good and decently made! Compared to the atrocity that was Dread Vault, it felt like playing a completely another game! And it was for the better.
Aside from serious lag issues, especially at the boss room (which I fathom is normal when there are a lot of players around and I did get used to it), Throne of Irdis felt good to play with friends. Thank you for that!
I've been looking to complete this event ever since the first one was introduced, so it makes me happy to see that there will be an option to earn the missing pieces of gear not only for me -- but for all the players who came POST mod16, and I know that there are many!
I think that developers fixed what was horribly broken before and I hope that everyone will get a chance to earn a bit of something.
BAD:
- No tracker nor explanation that it is possible only to collect 45 coins per day. This needs to be "in-your-face" sort of an explanation because we got used to run X5 + X4 to complete 45 Coins for the day. This changed in newest rendition, obviously.
- 1 trinket repeatedly and many mimics everywhere? I understand that developers want to combat potential exploits, but it is still trinkets in chests. At least give 5 per chest. I completed 2 x5 runs and ended with around 90 trinkets. 40 trinkets for completion + 50 or so from mimics. It is not bad, far from it, it is just that "1" trinket constantly does give people a bad taste in mouth, especially if someone else gets "12" if you catch me.
- Stone doors in one of the rooms can have a mob locked from the inside. Since quest path leads towards that route, it is impossible to go there as the lever is right next to the door and being in combat does not allow for it to open. That makes the party stuck unless some of the battle pets or enemy himself passes through the stone door. It's rare, but it does happen.
- We can't cash in trinkets of old. There is no option. I was looking as the whole area was made on the spot (and pet was not on the table : ) so I think that this was an overlook. Shouldn't it be added the same way?
That would be all. All in all This tales seems to be a good thing.
Thanks!

Some more mimics might be nice, but it's kinda ok.
And I'm sure the mimic merchant just has problems with delayed deliveries. After all, Nipsy had a late arrival too.
