One loss in pvp dom and you drop by one page... ? SRSLY ?
Leaderboard position has to be defined by kills and assists because that's what makes someone a good player in pvp ... not wins or losses
why a good player spawned with low pugs that fighting so hard with many kills and assists has to be dropped one page or two pages in leaderboard because pugs didn't know how to play.... laaameeeeeee .. devs ..lameeee.....
I demand my 20 battle trophies that devs stole from me because of this unacceptable leaderboard logic !

They could have done the battle thropies thing earnable with each win or something instead of a monthly reward. That way no one would complain that much about bad players but well...
A. The complete imbalance of teams( at least you will have a fighting chance)
B. The stupid BOTS running around and people using no-name characters to rig pvp matches
but played a HAMSTER ton of matches sucking the elo out of pugs that play a few times and never again
if you play people that only play a few times or once your elo and page go up way more cause you get more
elo "points/page movement " for lack of a better word from players that played fewer matches and have more to share / give up at that point
also you cant move up pages much at a certain point unless you face players that are higher up on the leader board then you and beat them/ or they are on your team and you beat other high ranked people .. and since certain players east / wast Europe etc play at certain times during the day / night some of them you will never ever meet/beat to steal/earn some of their elo / ranking value and unless you are varying your match times to play all the pool of players you wont move up at a certain point
also the leaderboard when you look at your position only shows people that have played 5 or more matches
but if you go to sort the category by kill death etc you will see that there are in fact more leader board pages of people that played less then 5 matches that also shared thier elo and ranking pool with higher level pvp people and then quit playing
so dropping a page or 2 when you lose a match might be a smaller fraction drop in % ranking then you thought / complained about ..and on a good note there were more pvp leaderboard pages then you thought and there are people way worse then you
I'll also mention that getting an artificially high K/D ratio is very easy and K/D often isn't a good measure of skill. Just build tanky and abuse the latest busted items and you can get very few deaths with very little effort.
Kill to death ratio also tends to be easier to do well at for dps roles, its not a support role friendly measurement, unlike win to loss ratio.

That said, there is certainly room for improvement for how the leaderboard calculates your placement/rank. Its definitely flawed. The rewards criteria could also be improved. As one example the best rewards could go to the best players for each class instead of being simply whoever scores highest on the board. This would remove the impact class imbalances have on your ability to compete for rewards.
