This latest Tales of Old event was hopelessly broken. We need to have this event properly fixed and re-run again, or else award all players who actually tried to run the event a fully-loaded artifact and the Token as compensation for the frustration and wasted time trying to reach the 135 coin mark necessary. People will be unable to complete their artifact equipment set or fully enhance their book artifact otherwise.
1) The daily coin counter was broken (double-counting coins earned) so that people who spent the time trying to grind coins would have found themselves stopped with only 22 or 23 for the day instead of 45.
2) The difficulty scaling remained broken after the patch that didn't happen until Saturday (or late Friday night), making a x3 run the feasible limit for all but the strongest of parties (I have not heard of ANYONE making a successful x4 or x5 run, FWIW), and it took so long to do a x3 run (assuming the party didn't mess up) that doing x2 runs was all most people would attempt.
3) The approximately half hour that it took to do a x2 run is way too long for a measly 3 coin reward. It would take 15 runs to max out the 45 coins that way, which is 7.5 hours--perhaps if you were paying ME to play the game instead of me playing the game on my recreational time outside of working and actually taking care of a household, that might happen.
4) The book artifact was bugged so that it couldn't be equipped if you had the other two books equipped. I hear this has been fixed with the latest patch, so hooray for getting that fixed if it's true.

I won't waste my time begging for a group and if it is not even in the queue to start with (like CTAs), I interpret that as a sign that this is a delve that is doomed to fail by default. Why bother?
