New Player Mount from Knox Disappeared

I created a Gith today. Went through the intro quest and got to Knox. He gave me a mount which I then rode to the next quest. After finishing that quest and speaking to Knox I attempted to mount up and ride to the next quest, but... The mount was gone.

I don't know if that mount was just a teaser or simply to ease my run to the next quest, but it seems like a bug to me. I did check my character sheet, stable, and inventory.. No mount. And here I was thinking it'll be nice having a mount through my early levels for a change...

    NVM, it was just for that one spot.. Boy, they really don't want players to have to walk far or work for their mounts like they used to. I ended up getting a new mount shortly there after, and even though it was a common it let me keep the uncommon mount speed from the previous mount. Maybe that's a bug, but whatever :)

    Not sure I'm liking this new player start. It's better as an alt for sure, because it's quicker... But as a new player I think I liked the previous new player start better as it was more interesting and made players appreciate what they were working for. I also hoped that the Gith race might get a slightly different intro that maybe explained how they got to Neverwinter, and it would be nice if all races had their own back stories worked into the intro.

    Oh well, feel free to delete this post.
