VIP Description should be changed to reflect LOMM

autumnwitchautumnwitch Member Posts: 1,141 Arc User
The VIP Description for level 7 clearly states "Immunity to Injuries" whereas you can get injured in LOMM no matter what VIP level you are. This could easily run a foul of California's Deceptive Advertising statutes and should reflect either "most injuries" or change it VIP members don't get hurt in LOMM.

What injury you had in LoMM? Any chance of a screenshot? I run it at least once per day, and never had any injury there or elsewhere.

I will post next time it happens. And the descriptions in the status bars says "you have an injury" and the only thing that will clear it is a divine injury kit.

I've suffered injury in LoMM, as well. Head injury as I recall.

Reading some of these replies and talking to a few guildies I don't know if this is WAI or a bug. I just assumed it was working as it was supposed to because there were a few other things pre-MOD 16 that did not transfer the benefits to post level 70 characters. I just assumed this was one of them because it's happened every time I've ran LOMM and has taken an injury kit to fix.

If anyone reading knows if this is a bug or WAI it might help with the solution.

LOL, so you get head injury if you hit the ceiling. Not the regular death injuries.

Actually I think it's well done, creative idea.

Never hit it, but I will try next time If I won't forget, just for fun.

Yes, VIP should be re-worded to say "Immunity to injuries caused by reaching 0 hit points." I am fine with the idea of injuries directly applied by another effect bypassing the immunity. Including traps. Bring a Rogue or watch where you step. (Yes, I dug that dead horse back up. :p ) They could include an injury kit or two in the per character daily VIP bag to compensate. (Lights cigarette, puts on blindfold and stands against the wall...)

it's not really the ceiling. if you hit any painting above or below you get the injury. it may be creative but it's also against the terms of vip. we shouldn't require an injury kit for anything.

Yes, VIP should be re-worded to say "Immunity to injuries caused by reaching 0 hit points."

Except it also prevents injuries from all traps anywhere except LoMM's special case, and that is all this is; a special case. Think of it as a way to get people to look before they leap.

Think of it as them violating the terms of VIP... "Immunity to Injury". The description is unconditional. LoMM is a condition.

That's why it's special lol an Injury not even VIP can prevent.
