black ice and that von stuff

whats the point of having the black ice going anymore ... you took away the means of refining it .. I spent a lot of time on getting black ice workers before you changed up the workshop ... I am so lost on a lot of things in this game ...hell my paladin can't level anymore

    I was curious about the black ice myself. We don't have the new professions on PS4 yet but I have been hearing that Icewind Dale is pretty meaningless now on PC (cep for the boons).

    You can trade the raw for regular black ice in Caer Konig, same place you now get the enchants and what not. No waiting for a profession for it anymore.

    Black ice is a very good source for getting gold these days. If you have ton of black ice, you are 'rich'.
    I refined 180000 raw black ice in one second. Do that with guy in the black ice forge area that needs to climb the stairs.

    Not exactly meaningless.. it is still a good source of free gold, and materials for crafting Demogorgon keys.

    Is there a list of materials no longer of value regarding the blackice crafting? I have a bunch of blackice reagents in my inventory that are from before the latest rework of professions and I can't seem to find a need for any of them in the workshop. I also haven't found anywhere in Caer-Konig where I can use them either. Only thing I can find regarding anything blackice related is climbing the stairs to the forge to convert raw blackice.

    What kind of regent you refer to? Black Ice Wedge, Black Ice core, ...?
    Use them to make Black Ice Enchantment. If you don't use them yourself, sell them.
    Do that in the same place you convert raw blackice.
    You can use blackice to buy fashion too if you care.

    Voninblod is useful for the Storm Kings quest, if that's what you mean. The armour that needed it for charging is long gone, I think. Black ice can still be used for blue sockets gems. They can be useful depending on which class you play.
