Nostura of the Stone Eye won't take damage

mysty#4057 mysty Member Posts: 42 Arc User
I have been trying to defeat the Nostura of the Stone Eye for The Fey Castle quest. Nostura quickly takes damage to about the 5th square, then starts to recover and never takes damage again. After she completely recovers she no longer takes any damage. Her attacks won't inflict damage and she doesn't take damage from you. Even if I stop attacking she won't kill me. I didn't know if other people had noticed this. Any thoughts?

What pet are you using as summoned? 2 years ago, one of my alts running that campaign had the Elemental Air Cultist as summoned. One of its attacks does some kind of push that was able to move her despite CC immunity. It did something and caused her to stop doing anything or take any damage. Perhaps this is something similar.

have you tried destroying the rifts and going through the portals? I just did this quest yesterday and it went perfectly fine for me.....
No, I hadn't tried that and didn't know I was supposed to. Thank you very much. I'll try it today.

I am using the Stalwart Golden Lion. Which one did you use that did help? Like you, I have others and can buy more from AH. That is, unless I am reading your advice wrong and you are suggesting that I use an Elemental Air Cultist. I will grab one if that is the pet that helped you get the job done. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

I was suggesting that a pet might be bugging her AI in a bad way, not that you should use one that does.

I figured that's what you meant.
