Castle Ravenloft is unplayable if not 24k+DPS

In its current state Castle Ravenloft if you do not have a 24k+ dps and 23k+ tank and heal the party CANNOT win. Please consider increasing the requirements to prevent people wasting their time
There are more than BIS players in this game
RIP Real Tiamat, RIP Real Demogorgon RIP real Temple of the spider. Why remove non bis content to give to bis players ????
FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

    CR is level 70 content. The right thing to do is to tone it down, not make it harder for people to get in.

    The main bug with CR is that it still uses old enemy ratings, which I believe are 47k since you need 97k ArPen to do full damage there (the patch that supposedly fixed Ravenloft and Chult didn't change anything). And it downscales your ArPen too...

    I tried CR due to the complaints like this, damn I was disappointed. There are guides explaining what you need to do to beat the dungeon, which are still valid by the way. This is entirely a user issue and not a problem of the content.

    Try it with players that are base level and you will see what i mean. Not with bis melting groups. Not sure if i made it clear before but if you run with high item level group it is not that hard if you run with 20k group you have no chance. Try dropping your il to 20-22k(average player running it now) and run again. that will be a new ball game. Remember this dungeon is supposedly playable by 16k players try running it with 16k party(at level 80).

    That is why i suggest increase the required level. there is no way a 16k team can do that final boss

    Agreed about the 16k's having no chance in this dungeon. Makes it really weird that a 16k can get in for RAQ to this considering it scales higher IL people to 17k..a little bit of a disconnect.

    well I've beat it with a decent team this mod, but the sword never got fully charged.....disappointing as it forced me to spam heals during the ceiling phase and even then 1 person still died to the explosion.

    2nd sister is bugged with aggro still

    Arcolith swung his sword maybe 4 times, the rest of the fight he stood still, never did the spin once.

    Sorry if i do not make this clear. It is not bugged(i have finished it multiple times on High item level teams) The item level to enter it is the problem. Getting 3-4 executioners means 1 dead player(the 2nd time that is 2 and then wipe). At the level they say can do it you can get 3-4 executioners(esp if 1 dps to executioner room). Avoiding 3-4 executioners for a low il is not possible. Yes you can avoid the gaze but having them spread in room means they will get you in range

    With low dps avoiding the red areas and not using bis heal to keep party alive it takes forever to end that phase.

    Also lower IL players do not have all speed boosts meaning crossing the entire boss room to 1 non red space (one of 3 phases has 1 safe space only) is impossible. Having 1/2 second to cross the entire boss room as a 16k (many higher level also) is impossible

    If this is about the candles, then this is not how it works. No need for any speed.

    The red zones are only to show the boundaries, the mechanics is a sequence, somewhat similar to


    Just need to move by the same sequence the candles are lit, it's something like 5 seconds, and only side stepping first explosion into second area, and back when it exploded.

    It. Isn't. Hard. It can probably be done 2 man. If you think CR is hard, you have no hope of completing the new trial. Read a guide and learn the mechanics, you will find by doing those 2 things it goes smooth as silk, even at the minimum item level requirement (item level is not skill or a relevant indicator of toon performance, never has been). Furthermore, the sword works fine, it gains charge by dealing damage with the sword itself, so if you slow down with dps from other sources, you can actually fill the charge.

    so in your opinion the arcolith doing almost nothing and not doing the spin at all is not a bug? insightful
    again Record a run with 16k team and you have a point in this conversation. Sarcasm will get you no where the truth is the truth.

    I know the candle sequesnce there are 3.:

    1. inside is save
    2. Outside is save
    3. Single area of outside is save and here speed is needed. if the safe area is on other side of room you have less than 1 second to get to that area. that is impossible on a 16k toon.

    The fact is not just the candles. I stated earlier if 2 tanks and 2 dps of 16k need to melt and avoid the red "candles" during the executioner phase there can be 3 or more executioners due to the slow melt (not just burn like when good healer in team) so the room fills with executioners and impossible to avoid. I am not saying the room is bugged i am saying 16k item level is way to low to do it.
