Sybella - Legacy quests

There seems to be a hit and miss approach to what encounters or mobs may or may not complete parts of this wonderful questline. The weekly in Lonelywood during the SKT week - doesn't count at all whereas the same type in Bryn & Cold Run do?

This week the epic in Icewind / Dwarven - seems only Remoraz / Beholder counts but they don't appear to spawn with any pre-determined frequency (like Black Ice Domination for instance). Other BHE's don't count towards the quest either and that is just causing more confusion.

Thanks
Black

I think the developer need to make remorhaz and beholder to spawn on every hour, else the map is gonna swell with people waiting and transferring between instance and ultimately causing those map to rubberband so bad.

Beholder is in Dwarven Valley right?

In game people kept telling me "there is no Epic Heroic in Dwarven Valley"

    Pffft

Impossible to end the Legacy Quest in Caer Konig this week: no BHE available. Remorhaz and Beholder spawn few times a day, and we usually have just one instance for each. Nobody can stand to wait hours doing nothing, waiting for the BHE. And... because of a lot of people is waiting for... maybe when the Remorhaz or the Beholder spawns, it ends in 30 seconds... and someone maybe doesn't have time to participate. PLS DO SOMETHING !!!

Remo in Pass doesnt show up but we cant switch instanced that can spawn, same with Beholder in Valley, i was there and it not on my map and i heard other said it is up, ran around checking known spot when it doesnt appear on map.
devs, it seem you broke more than it got fixed.
i recommended overhaul each campaign code menu and scripting, there might be almost ideniitical codes for icewind and barovia, and when we enter, seem the code read as that or this, and may have got bugged.

my concept of coding for campaign, example, Icewind, so i would type IWbbw1cr (creature) and bb for barbarian warrior, and IWbbc2cr as barbarian cleric. something that should have ID tags for each creatures, items, or consumables.
    and check the scriptings
that something i used for indoors/outdoors and zone to zone for my NWN1 and NWN2 player made adventures, i have no trouble creating it, but i have hard time with +CC scriptings for NPC interactions and trigger event.

problem is, more you patched, it may get override one or more codes broke, each patch added it like having to sew in small cloth to cover a hole and then you have many color patches on a pair of jeans. then you have legacy of layers over layers. it just time to clean up so you can read and idenified, reason why former programmer left for other jobs and when you have newer member and may had put new code and not knowing there are code already exist in different part, then you have conflict and overrided. it is about 6 yrs old.
other game programmers who work with eq2 and it is very big game that run since 2004/2005 released, codings are huge and lot of ID tags, work hard to make less buggy contents.

    Regards,

I'd like to add that my main fought the Remorhaz (the correct one in the middle of the map) a couple of weeks ago and it didn't count. I had an alt, accidentally, see and fight it twice, yesterday (weird, I know, and hours apart). The first time it didn't count (just like my main) and I sent a bug report (#4,880,782). The second time, it DID count and I sent another report (#4,880,785) mentioning how it worked on the same character, same day, second time (don't know if any or all made a difference, but reported in case it did). If you have to do it twice on the same day for it to count, it absolutely needs to be fixed, lol. Once is hard enough to find...

Another Sybella thread that whilst may not mirror issues reported here - the devs may have fixes based on that one and that in turn may resolve our issues :)
