Companions don't start attacking at the beginning of fights, usually takes several seconds until they engage if at all or their attacks are not consistent. Companions also move slow as hell and lag behind sometimes half a map away and get stuck in walls and rocks and other obstacles.
This has been ongoing for weeks now.

The second thing is ranged fighting companions (archers, "healers" (quotes intended), etc.) positioning during fights. They position himself far away from the fight center, usually near other pack of mobs doing aggro on them of course. This is most noticeable and annoying on Chult and Barovia maps again.
The good idea imho is they should position himself in opposite of us, not so far away, to give CA for us. The best experience I have is with tank companions, they stay in the middle of fight and I can reposition myself for CA. But ranged, meh.
Because of that I consider this as a bug and not a "nice to fix" things (especially first point).
And I know, BIS players wont even bother as they do not use non augments mostly and that is a different problem we have in game (lack of diversity).
BTW, why we can't buy some augment companion for gold (the white version) or choose for free as other companions during leveling quest? All augment companions are rather expensive on AH and this approach do not give a chance to new players to even know such type of companion exists.
