Console Players should be informed about MOD 16's leveling changes

The developers should really let players know about the drastic changes to leveling in MOD 16. If you are on console and want to play a different class, you need to finish leveling before the 18th.

It is a disservice to not tell players you cannot complete all quests be yourself any longer. The console playerbase is going to flip when they discover they need organized groups to kill questline bosses like level 9 Karzog.

    This is not only wrong but misleading. I had no problem leveling up a Pally from scratch on preview. After the latest build, I’m betting it’s even easier.

    So you have not leveled one on live?

    Do not take my word for it, go to reddit or look at the forums.

    the changes they have made on preview that have not gone live yet will make it very easy for new players to level a new toon. it is probably better to wait for m16 to drop before levelling at this point.

    It is exceptionally easy to level Solo from 1-80 on Live PC right now, even with the few bugs that still exist.

    That has not changed in the slightest.

    That has not been my experience, you must be a super player or something. I managed to level just fine in UO, Everquest, DAoC, Star Wars Galaxies, WOW, LoTRO, D&D Online, Warhammer, Rift, Aion, Wildstar, Secret World, SWTOR, and I am sure a dozen other games I forgot about.

    I have never experienced anything like MOD 16 in any game before. But hey, I am new to Neverwinter, maybe this is how the mods go.

    I am new. I played on console and switched to PC. I was playing PC quite a bit when MOD 16 launched. I stopped playing when it just became ridiculous to try and level. Having to sit and wait for random players to come by to try and form a group to kill quest mobs sucks, especially without chat.

    I came back to console to play until MOD 16 hits. Forget trying to run any dungeons.

    I truly hope they get it fixed before launch. I think these forums are going to explode on the 18th, when people realize they can no longer run dungeons and can barely quest

    You know they removed scaling in all campaign zones with the latest patch; this means solo instances can be soloed once again. You can achieve level 80 and go back and do the campaign without any issues. What the console release includes is yesterday PC patch plus all other patches that have been released to date. Console and PC will be almost identical for their patch/fixes.

    I think these forums are going to see more posts than they have in years after the Mod 16 launch. Yes changes were made, but it is still rough.

    People on console are used to grinding the illusion dungeon over and over. Wait until they find out it is the only dungeon in the random queue and the bosses now kill everybody in under 10 seconds. People do not even try any more they just die and leave, which is okay, because you are in and out in a few seconds.

    I feel bad for the cryptic staff, who knows how this is going to go. It's got to be rough on them knowing they are launching this to an excited group of people who for the most part are going to freak out and wonder what happened to a game they loved so much.
