Hello, quick question: is it possible to redo the Undermountain quest line? I'd like to get the full rewards from expeditions (the first time I got some blue items, by doing the quests with an alt I've discovered you can get the purple ones).
They should just tag those new(?) rewards as unique, box 'em up in an account-wide "Undermountain Care Package" and place it at the Rewards Claim Agent for any character that reaches level 80 to simply grab.
Or any other source of companion gear. Will not wait until Mod17 to get purple companion gear and start lotmm. Its so bad that no one told us before it is IMPORTANT to do expedition (we are learning) right and have NO chance to get companion gear afterwards. One more bad design of game.

Well, if you're learning, why did you skip looking?
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
Yesterday, I was heading into Wyllowwood with my cleric and for the 4th time. I just got tired of looking for the stupid relics. Took the blue ring and recycled it. Something "better" will always be around the next corner in this game. The purple rings have 2 offense slots, but it really don't matter with the enchants giving poor buffs. I might feel bad passing on a purple ring, if it wasn't for the lack of quality.
If you want the purple rings from this, you have got to look everywhere. I had to leave and come back which started the whole process over from the very beginning. That was on me and not the fault of the game.
Mind you, some other quest lines you're able to restart. I'm not asking for free stuff, I'm willing to start over from zero. They should mark items as unique (so that you don't get 2 of the same ring) but that's all.

You could quit and then do it again if you really could not find the 9th relic. I did that once.

Nothing tell you that the reward is so great that you want to get 9 relics. I din't even understand that the expedition is in 3 parts, and I had to get 3 relics in each part.

You are right and I only got 8 in my first exploration. Since the game allowed me to leave, I thought it was 'okay'. Then, I found out it was not. Hence, in the other exploration, I made sure I would get 9 before I "left". If I could not get 9, I "quit".

At the point I spoke about above 4 out of 8 of my characters already had the purple rings. Yes, I could have quit but there was a lot of interruptions that day. I was getting depressed and so I just said screw it. I also agree, there is nothing telling you about the quest reward, or giving you a list contents of the mystery box. I think it is a horribly thought out quest for a user to just blunder into at the start. Many players would probably skip over verbal and written explanations. I would at least have a tool tip on the reward box for the contents per relic. After all it can only be a number from 1 to 9.
