Bring Back Character Progression!

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to remove any sense of progress, but they need a reality check. this is a Role Playing Game. every rpg ever has had character progression, but now for some reason, leveling up and ranking up your enchantments and gear is either innefectual or even has a negative effect on your performance.
weapon enchantments got rekt, some like Dread are even broken, only 2 are even remotely useful now, vorpal or bronzewood.
enchantments got rekt, only radiants have any use now because the level 80 gear puts you overcap on any stats besides POWER. Darks have some limited viability still for companion influence or arpen (for level 70 content)......but all the crit/accuracy enchantments, which were BIS last module, are completely useless now for anything but trying to fight scaling.
and now there is no enchantment which will scale past r9......so anything above rank 9 is wasted for 90% of the content available.
Boons don't make any sense, and besides power and HP are mostly not worth taking....BUT...HP BOONS DO NO EVEN WORK!
Feats got rendered inert in an attempt to provide balance. and some of them don't even work. (looks at Rythym of the Heavens)
Ability scores got rendered inert as the bonuses are so low you can now just put points into any you choose and it won't change anything....they used to matter.

can a dev confirm if they intend for players to keep 2 different sets of gear?
Is level 70-60 content the new focus for whats endgame now? and level 80 will just be the starter stuff? seems this is the way things are moving....
I really see no other option for doing level 70 content then having a complete set of gear stacked with all the stats you do not need for level 80.
crit, arpen, accuracy....

Mainstays of successful MMORPGs has been character customization, having interesting choices to make for your character, having a clear upgrade path that makes you think something significant is just ahead, having a variety of classes/choices to choose from that give you a variety of play styles to enjoy. Also, facing interesting challenges that drop reasonable rewards.

Cryptic has done away with all that.

Please enjoy your (brief) stay in 'NeverInteresting - World of Sameness'.

Out of all the things Mod 16 brought to NWO, the one I dislike the most (by a long way) is the descaling and the negative effect it has on the feeling of character progression.

    It is horrible.
