Confusing Mission

Celeste's Mission called Origin of Evil, "Use Celeste's Amulet to find the source of Dark Magic", confuses me. How am I supposed to be using that Amulet power exactly? It seems to fire off ok and it agros nearby mobs, but it doesn't show any pathway Im aware of. I used a nearby scrying stone, and it showed some dark oozing out of a set of doors at the bottom of Vanrakdoom castle structure but the Amulet does nothing there, so I just dont get it. Anyone help?

    Nevermind I figured it out, just needed to enter through the correct doorway.
