Mail system

I wanna mail items that I can't use or don't need to my kids, but whenever I try it comes back returned to sender. When they open their mailbox, they get a .01 second red error, and can't even read the error to figure out what is wrong.

Is there a setting I need to change on their gamertags that allows me to send them mail in game? I've been able to send mail to my wife just fine. We all have live on the "home Xbox" and everyone has their own Neverwinter account.

I'd go through security settings. If you have parental controls on, that is likely causing some sort of communication error.

I take it you all use the same xbox? Otherwise there is always open trading.

You have to complete the leveling/campaign areas up through neverdeath graveyard on at least one character before an account can send or receive mail, or trade with other players.

Not correct, you can receive mail immediately. Just not send.

Ok let me rephrase that... you can’t send or receive ITEMS in the mail. Geez some people like to nitpick.

If you could read that .01 second red error message, I promise you, it’s telling you those quests have to be completed first. But, if you wanna keep believing thats not the issue then go right ahead. I honestly don’t care lol.

This is not correct at all.

Wrong, I can send items to my wife, and she can receive them just fine. It's when I try to send items to my son(16) that things go wonky. I reset his security setting, and have to try again. Niether one of them have completed the required steps to send mail IIRC.

I would have your son file a ticket with customer support via the website, as it may be an issue with his account.

    No, that's still not correct.

You cannot send mail, containing items or not, until you've finished the tutorial or spent some Zen.

You can receive mail, including items, immediately. It's the most common way to drop a "care package" off for someone you know who's starting to play the game.

So if there's someone who can't receive mail, that's a problem, and yeah what Kreatyve said, open a customer service ticket because that's a problem.

Look through the Log tab in the chat window, any errors should be listed there. If not, go into the settings of the chat window and turn on error reporting.
