flashing blue AP meter (icosahedron icon)

I have been trying out a new character devoted cleric as an anointed champion.

Today (after the patch) I noticed that the action points meter (that icosahedron icon) was flashing blue - it just kept flashing, even though I was not at 100%, and even after I hit 100% and used a daily power. Was this just a visual bug or does it signify something?

I thought it might mean that I could empower a daily power (and I was thinking I have been playing devoted cleric wrong this whole time)?

after I switched instances/zones, it stopped flashing. I do not think I have ever seen it flash blue like that before though.

    If flashes a purple/blue in combat if your AP is being drained.

    oh that is what was happening at the time - thank you. It still remained flashing after the combat but I was in sharandar.

    It must have been a glitch then. Thank you!

    If I remember correctly, the ennemies cast a spell which drain your ap like a dot, so it can go on even after combat until you have 0 AP
