How to take on Ghast encounter in Barovian graveyard?

I've been able to inspect 3/4 of the graves, but the 4th is a doozy. I've tried about 8 times to take on the Ghast. The Ghouls are doable but somewhat tough. The Ghast takes me out in about 2 hits and I can't really just dodge around him too easily. Any ideas on how to take him on or what item(s) I might need to assist?

    A partner?

    Yeah getting a partner is the best way had to help a mate with that one not 100% sure how i beat it when i ran into it the first time.

    That ONE enemy in that quest seems overpowered in health or resistance or something.
