refer a friend question

so ive been playing neverwinter and perfect world int. for a few years and i just recently got my gf to play neverwinter with me on our laptop. my question is i didnt see the refer a friend thing until recently. we both have active vip in neverwinter and lvl 60+ characters is it to late to use the refer a friend because its not a code its a link for a new account ? is there a referral code in game we can use or should we just continue playing without the referral stuff?

    Play without it or start new accounts (have your primary account refer the new one) blitz the new account to 20 to get the rewards on your primary and let the alt account rot.

    yea i see that for the rewards for already active accounts they cant have a character past level 10. i figured either just go on without or just make alts or try to refer other friends from discord lol
