not sure if it was reported.
but this is the situation, 3 guys deliver there items each 20 minutes to the box.
after 12 hours or so (when coming home from work or so) i enter the workshop head to the delivery box and all 18 items
however, depending on how fast i am at the box, tthe box will be refilled with the stocked items, and cant be taken out.
this fast refilling works most of time when i am already in front of the door.

but most of time, the items made, wil not make it in the box but are waiting in limbo
when lucky, after several relogs the items wil be in the box.

this also happens when you are not fast enough to reopen the box again, and items are stuck in limbo to.

My experience is a little bit difference.

I have gathering going for low level stuff. When I went back to check the delivery box over night, the delivery box (18 slots) was NOT filled up. I claim all. I 'f' the delivery box. Another one shows up. I claim all. I 'f' the delivery box. Another one shows up. That keeps going like forever. The total was way more than 18.

The status of the 'gathering' are all in 'delivering'. It is like my workers are both hard working and lazy. They are hard working because they just keep gathering. They are lazy because they did not bother to drop them to delivery box (remember I said the delivery box was not filled up). When the boss (me) shows up, they start to drop stuff to delivery box.

In one situation, I cannot 'cancel' because it stays in 'delivering' but I did want to cancel because I wanted to gathering different stuff. I end up moving gold away from the purse. Then, finally, they stop.

By the way, for the record, I did not start to participate the new profession until after the last patch. That is I should not have anything lingering from before the last patch.

It appears that delivery box filling does not happen until you log in, so there is a bit of lag until the box is full.

The other issue is adventurers don't seem to stop gathering once the box is full. If you've set a repeating task that will fill the box and then some, you may need to collect the box a couple times before you catch up to their current task where you then will be able to cancel the task if you want.
  • In any case, it is the inability to cancel a task until it is delivered that is the problem. Receiving the gathered material (what is in the 'buffer') should be independent from job starting/cancelling imho. The fact that I need to stop worker A from doing whatever he is doing and assign him to another task, should have nothing to do with work he has completed, only what his current action is.

Yes, receiving everything in the buffer is tedious and requires logging in/out to restart the fill sequence, but at least nothing is lost. That process should be possible to do after workers are reassigned or brought 'home'.

The problem is it allowed gathering to continue even though it was supposed to stop when it filled up the delivery box.

The 'delivering' does not take long if it only fills the max capacity of delivery box. It may be a while but not too long.
My problem was my gathering tried to deliver (say) 100 boxes and stayed 'delivering' when it should only do the capacity of delivery box (say 18).

That patch today is supposed to fix that (I have not checked). If they fix it correctly, there should be no 'cannot cancel' issue.

Ok, it is still not fixed properly. I have a level 2 workshop and the delivery box is supposed to be 18 slots only.

So, my gathering keeps coming until I got 30. I double checked with the log.

I don't remember if I actually limited the gathering to 30 myself or may be it is the max slots of delivery box although I do not have level 3 and level 4 unlocked.

At least, it stopped although I expect to get 18 only (because of the size of my delivery box).
