i just lost more then 300 IL points

what in the hell is going on in this game i busted my HAMSTER to get to 11k and now i log in and i am only 10980 WTF

    For some reason my Companion (an Augment) was unsummoned on a couple of my characters when I logged in, causing my IL to drop precipitously. Have you checked your companions yet?

    When the new Mod released people got free iL "out of the blue". People say it ranged from 300-500 extra iL and guessed it was from MW item lvl rework to feats and power points.

    It was very common subject in game chat and brought up in forums too but from my limited viewing I didn't see anything official on the subject. Maybe this is what got taken away? The pseudo iL not MW iL. Again is very common subject atm in game chat since just happened.

    I guess it wasnt wai...with the launch we got IL points for boons, feats, powers. I hoped its a free gift for all cause they took away the IL from pvp boons...but no...awesome guys keep up the great work!

    PvP boons have no impact on PvE content and should not have ever been counted for that purpose.

    Did you notice that you gained 300+ pts when mod 15 went live? This was simply a fix for that.

    Feats etc no longer give points, it seems.

    I saw the same thing, but as @chivonica explained, several assets/gear were falsely inflated at Mod 15 launch. You just saw the correction of that false inflation.

    In any case, IL is meaningless, especially compared to the real game-breaking bugs that remain.

    yeah had the same issue here. luckaly it wasn't to huge a drop for me and i got back my il by upgrading some stuff but still I don't think it was fair that they just make changes like this without telling us. that's pretty sleazy.

    The patch notes don't say anything about feats no longer giving Il . The only thing it says related to item level is that it will "no longer appear out of whack" in scaled areas, yet I'm 300 il lower standing in PE. It appears to me that they messed it up across the board when they tried to adjust it for scaled areas, unless they did something else that they didn't put in the notes.

    I had my points before lvl.15 and I paid a lot of money to get my stats up, and bang lost 300 just like that.

    I got ~400 iLvl at mod 15. Today I lost ~275 of it. I guess the only legit iLvl bump was from the MW weapons.

    But that's okay. I'm seeing more and more 14/15K dps in ToNG that are dps-competitive with the tank/heal. Good thing there also more 18Ks to make the single, even double, carries possible.

    Only those iLvl points wrongly added with the start of mod15 (points for feats and stuff?!) are gone again. No stats lost, etc. nothing wrong there.

    Have to sign that. You find so many... not up to the task... players in random queues.

    In some cases people had like 60K or 80K IL in some level adjusted areas. Seems like their IL calculations were off all over. I lost a few hundred IL as well after the patch, but not enough to drop me below 16K luckily - I fact, it put be back where I was before M15 launched, so all good.

    There are a few different things going on. First, it seems that things were reverted to what they were before Mod 15, meaning that if you had no masterwork items, your IL should be the same as it was. Now, having feats give IL points is actually somewhat logical ... someone with 124 points has rank 4 in all powers and is arguably stronger than someone with just 70 points. 2-3 IL for each point above 70 would seem fair to me.

    However, there is something wrong with the IL calculation - it does not always seem to get automatically updated when you switch gear or loadouts - you need to switch characters (and just log right back in as yourself) to get the correct numbers.
