Bored sleeping companions?

I would like an answer from a developer WHY this even occurs every 10 seconds after I stop moving? If this is not a bug, it is a stupid feature, and needs an explanation.

    For some weird reason all companions now have the idle animation usually associated with the Moonshae Druid - when that companion goes idle, it flops over in the same fashion and starts snoring. For all other companions to now start doing this as well is more than a little... annoying...

    Bug or not, it needs to go. Companions doing this annoys the snot out of me.
    I use my Sylph on a lot of my alts as their primary companion. Having someone who can lay down in the air stand on the ground counters established in game cannon.

    I was more amused by it. But I also have a Tiger comp or a Will-o-the-Wisp comp, so it's not my own comp going for naps every so often.
    I can see why folks would be annoyed if it was their own companion dozing off.

    LOL. I don't care what my companions do when we're not fighting. If we're fighting and they're off sleeping or chasing butterflies, then I've got a problem.

    When in-game animation no longer works. I have a problem. Every companion has unique animations to use when a player character is interacting with a stationary object. Not caring about what they do is fine. Except that when every companion in Faerûn is doing the exact same thing, sleeping, the world looks rather dead.

    Well, this must be affecting only some companions. The companions my characters have are all alert and behaving normally, even when I'm just standing around watching the day go by.

    This is annoying as hell, I didnt purchase companions both from the zen store, and AH for them all to act the same...at this point you might as well make them appear the same. Even my Laughing Skull just sits there...

    The game looks like a zombie apocalypse of companions now. Id rather have Makos afraid of his own shadow again than him acting like an undead every 10 seconds
