This thread captures the mechanics of the Hunt-Boss: Sister of Fury. If you do not want to be spoiled, stop reading here!

General informations before looking at each ability the boss has:
Name Sister of Fury
Type Undead
Lvl 73
Hitpoints ~29 000 000
DR 100%
Defenses Ignored 15%
Reduced incoming damage -25% because of lvl 73
Critical Severity 25%
Combat Advantage Damage 15%
Notes:
  • All powers of the boss are fixed damage attacks.
  • The DR debuffs are working like the target had less DR to begin with.
  • The Cooldown is estimated on the intervall between two usages of the power.
  • Affected by undead slayer rings, overload marks and boons.
  • The boss has two forms. The human form and the vampire form. The form does not seem to have any influence on the abilities and rotation.

Abilities:

Theft of Vitae is an at-will like power that hits for 58828.9. Every attack puts a debuff on the targeted player and to close party members. After 10 stacks the boss inflicts an attack that must be shielded or it will hit for a huge amount of damage. This "onehit" comes with an warning "Prepare to join the ranks of the undead.". The onehit attack is currently broken or was getting raplaced and is not used anymore.
Additionally on 10 stacks the boss inflicts for every following Theft of Vitae another Theft of Vitae that hits twice as hard. So as long these stack is not cleared the target takes 58828.9 + 117656.8 Theft of Vitae damage.
If the enemy is not in sight the attack may still get through the solid object.
Name Theft of Vitae
Casting Time 1.2s
Damage 58828.9
Type Normal attack
Estimated Cooldown No CD
Additional properties Debuffs the target and prepares a "onehit" attack that must be shielded
Additional notes "onehit" attack replaced?
Power-Preview:

The first part shows the typical 2x Theft of Vitae attack. The second part shows the shielded onehit. The last part shows that the onehit attack is currently broken.
The debuff stacks can be seen at the debuff bar.

Gaze of Doom inflicts every 3 seconds damage for an overall amount of 3 hits. The debuff icon shows an eye. After the 2s casting time the boss stays still for a second and teleports behind and in front of the target, taking a whole amount of 4s.
If the enemy is not in sight the attack may still get through the solid object. The casting range is very high. If the target is not in sigth and the teleport is the next ability to use the boss will just stand around until the target is back in sigth.
Name Gaze of Doom
Casting Time 4s
Type DoT
DoT Damage 58828.9, 3 times
DoT Frequency every 3 seconds
DoT Uptime 7 seconds
Estimated Cooldown 40s
Additional properties may ignore solid objects between boss and target
Additional notes The attack let the boss eyes glow red
Power-Preview:
Gaze of Doom in both forms of the boss.

Wail of Suffering throws the targets in a cone back and drains their AP. It is not considered an AoE attack, at least when just hitting one enemy.
Name Wail of Suffering
Casting Time 3s
Type normal Attack
Damage 11765.8
Estimated Cooldown 40s
Additional properties 100% AP drain, damage dodgeable, drain not dodgeable
Additional notes The attack let the boss eyes glow red, ignores blocking objects
Power-Preview:
Wail of Suffering with teleport:
https://youtu.be/tIyc5quZ7YY

Whispers of Deception / "Doppelgänger" stuns, immobilizes and makes the target immune to incoming damage for 5s and creates an illusion which attacks for 10s, doing ~2 at will combos. Before the target gets immune the boss shrieks for 1 second. The boss teleports 2 times and ends the animation with a black nondamaging AoE. and the illusion stays up to 10s. The debuff icon shows a body.
The illusion hits for ~50k damage and attacks with an at-will combo of the stunned class. The attacks unfortunately does not follow the typical skill coeffictions for the attack. Example: Cleaves first and second hit deal 53652 damage and the third hit deals 88861 damage. Their coefficients for GFs are 0.72 and 1.2 with 0.72/1.2=0.6 and 53652/88861~0.6037.
The chosen target seems to always be the main damage dealer. If the tank is the main damage dealer, the second main damage dealer is targeted.
Name "Doppelgänger"
Casting Time 4s
Type stun, immobilize, immun
Estimated Cooldown 40s
Power-Preview:

Pool of Decay inflicts every 3 seconds damage for the amount of time the target stays in the pool and slows the target down. The debuff icon shows a feet and debuffs the target for 15% per pool. The inflicted damage is increasing and follows the formula:
29414.45*x for x in range [2,7]
After the target left the pool the DoT hits one more time.

If the target is not in sight then:
  • The pool does no damage.
  • The slow and glow is still active
  • The damage does not rise until the boss is back in sight. The next pools DoT would start at 58828 damage.
If the target stands on multiple pools then:
  • The damage for only 1 pool is inflicted.
  • The debuff stacks per pool. When the target stays on 3 pools the target is debuffed by -45% DR.
  • The DoT frequency does not change.
  • The DoT increases by the same amount as 1 pool.
Name Pool of Decay
Casting Time ~3.5s
Type DoT
Pools cast 2-3
DoT Damage 29414.45*x for x in range [2,7]
DR Debuff 15% per pool
DoT Frequency every 3 seconds
Pools Uptime 1 min
Estimated Cooldown 30s
Additional properties random positions cast, slows the target down, debuff stacks per nr of pools, all pools disappear on party member death
Additional notes The target is glowing red, shieldable to center, not deflectable
Power-Preview:
Pool of Decay example:

Chains of Spite reflects the mitigrated damage of all incoming attacks on the boss back to the chained target as piercing damage. The damage on the boss is still inflicted. Companion attacks are reflected too.
If the target and the boss are not in sigth the damage is not reflected.
Name Chains of Spite
Casting Time 2s
Type piercing
Damage same as reflected attack
Chains Uptime 10s
Estimated Cooldown 40s
Additional properties shieldable, not deflectable

The power Bloody Corruption is a debuff that gives, while it is active, 1 stack of Growing Weakness for "each power" the target uses while in sight. For further definition of "each power" look at the tables below.
The icon of the debuff for both Bloody Corruption and Growing Weakness are the same as for TRs Bloodbath.
If the target is out of a certain range, maybe 20-40°, Growing Weakness is not triggered.
    Name Bloody Corruption
    Casting Time 2s
    Type Debuff, Debuff-Trigger
    Estimated Cooldown 30s
    Debuff uptime 10s
Additional properties needs meelee range or it is not cast
    Name Growing Weakness
    Type DR-Debuff and Damage Debuff
    DR-Debuff 12.5% per stack
    Damage-Debuff 12.5% per stack
    Stacking Up to 10 times
    Debuff uptime 10s
Additional properties Refreshes on every new stack
Additional notes Damage Debuff affects the Crit-CA part, may get delayed for a few 100ms
An interesting note is that the Damage affects the Crit-CA part and is not an independent multiplier. Since the debuff can grow to 125% it is interesting what happens when no crit and no CA is applied. Simple answer: Each hit heals.

Thorns of Vengeance aka "Bats" is a debuff that inflicts, while it is active, 78438.5 damage for "each power" the target uses while in sight. For further definition of "each power" look at the tables below.
If the target and the boss are not in sigth the damage is not inflicted.
If the target is out of a certain range, maybe 20-40°, Thorns of Vengeance does not inflict damage.
The icon of the debuff is a body with arrows in its direction.
    Name Thorns of Vengeance
    Casting Time 3s
    Type normal attack
    Damage 78438.5
    Bats Uptime 10s
    Estimated Cooldown 50s
Additional properties shieldable, deflectable, the bats are hitting before the triggered power
Additional notes The cast animation let the boss eyes glow red

Example without and with attacking the boss:

Blood Craze is an attack that hits for 11765.8 and debuffs the target. The debuff is no DR-Debuff nor a Damage-Debuff, so it doesnt seem to have any use. The attack is unlocked below 20% health of the boss.

The icon of the debuff is a head.
    Name Blood Craze
    Casting Time 2s
    Damage 11765.8
    Type Normal attack, Nothing-Debuff
    Debuff uptime 20s
    Debuff ???
    Estimated Cooldown 20s
Additional properties unlocked below 20% boss health

    Rotation:

There is no set rotations, but the special attacks are often used in this sequence:
    1. Typically the boss begins with a Gaze of Doom.
    2. A few seconds later after the Gaze of Doom ends Whispers of Deception is used.
    3. Pools of Decay
    4. Wail of Suffering
    5. Chains of Sprite
    6. Optional: Bloody Corruption
    7. Optional: Thorns of Vengeance
    8. Gaze of Doom ..
    Additionally:
    • In some hunts Bloody Corruption and Thorns of Vengeance are skipped and not used at all for the whole hunt. If Bloody Corruption is skipped then Thorns of Vengeance is skipped too. No good reason for this is found.
    • Theft of Vitae is cast between all those steps 0-a few times.
    • The length of the rotation depends mostly of the amount of powers skipped and the amount of Theft of Vitae cast in between. The rotation is typically between 30-50s long.
    • Blood Craze is cast after it ended, thus it is cast in between the rotation.

    Example hunt:

    https://youtu.be/Qk2uvj6U-K4

    Bugs:

    • The active companion dies endlessly on the pools. See the fight above at 1:50 for an example.
    • The target is debuffed by the numbers of cast pools for the next 3s after the boss cast new pools. For 3 pools that means 45%.
    • Bloody Corruption can just be used in meelee range. If this range is not achieved and Bloody Corruption is in line to get activated, the boss does nothing. This video shows the distance bug of Bloody Corruption.

    • Rarely the second hit of Theft on Vitae is not used.
    Possible Bugs:
    • The onehit attack after 10 stacks of Theft of Vitae is not getting activated. Instead another Theft of Vitae is used. The animation is still played and the warning "Prepare to join the ranks of the undead." is given.
    • Blood Craze does nothing useful?
    • Thorns of Vengeance and Bloody Corruption is sometimes not used at all.
    • Thorns of Vengeance and Bloody Corruption are inconsitent in their activation.

Ha ha yeah funny about that Companion thing... when I was doing these hunts solo back in September I took a video of my Companion stuck in a death loop making it completely useless half the fight :)https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/wdj40/video/60672782

The other thing I learned was not to attack when Spite/Bloody Corruption pops up... sometimes, like 1 point in this clip, I am clumsy and make an attack at the wrong time :)
