In Castle Ravenloft, are the witches and Strahd considered "undead?"

And thus procing undead rings, boons, and overload enchantments?

I cant seem to find a definitive answer, and have searched extensively. Thanks

    Assuming that they mean the Sisters? They aren't witches. They're vampires and undead.

    Yes, sisters of Strahd are vampires too, ergo undead. I didn't know if the OP meant them or the Barovian witches, but later I realized the thread heading said 'in Castle Ravenloft'. So you're probably correct, OP meant the Sisters.

    To extend that question does the game treat the Atropal as undead?

    no, it should be based on PnP but isn't coded as such in this game.
