Brand new to Neverwinter - A noob question, help needed.

I play primarily Star Trek online - but decieded to give Neverwinter a try.

You see in Star Trek, we only have one kind of keys we use, for lockboxes.

My problem is I accidentaly purchased stronghold keys, when I wanted to buy lockbox keys. I know, NOOOOOB!

Is there anything I can do about that?

    Not really. But, customer service might, I repeat might, be able to help you out. Can't hurt to ask, but do not expect it. Consider it a pleasant surprise if they do.

    But if you are in a guild or alliance that runs dragonflight often, you can get good use out of the stronghold keys for extra vouchers and earn more guildmarks.

    Or you can post the stronghold keys in the Auction House.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    Thanks for the feedpack, I posted a few in the auction house, hmmmm they don't seem to go as fast as lock box keys go in STO.

    No, they won't sell particularly fast.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    They'll sell faster and for more ADs during a double guild mark event since people want them more during those events.

    Yea like you I play STO & Neverwinter... though lately I've been enjoying playing Neverwinter a bit more. Perhaps it because I have vastly too many campaign's to catch up on.

    NOTE:

    Strongbox keys will sell if you price them a little lower than the next guy... yet you may want to consider keeping them! I mean if you run Dragon Flight with a guild, if you focus on empowered near the dragon, you can earn several Strongbox of Influence, Tyranny, Dark or Fey Voucher's or others... You also get to decide which Strongbox you open. If you check the Auction House to see which of the Purple Voucher's are worth the most; realize you I think get 5 from a Strongbox so you could likely make more opening the right box and selling the Vouchers. Those go a lot faster, often as Guild's regularly try to grow, and you may recoup more diamonds!

    Just a Thought...

    Regardless I wish you luck what ever strategy you decide; though you could also try support link of the forum website. Important to stay nice and admit it was your mistake cause you came from STO and there they have only one type of key like the person above noted. :*

    I would recommend doing what @strathkin said: Save the keys, get in a guild, run some Dragonflight, and open those boxes. I spent around 2m to 3m astral diamonds this month on vouchers for my guild. It won't be a regular occurrence because I just can't sustain that kind of spend, but it did let me hurry up some of the upgrades for my guild. You're definitely better off opening the boxes and selling the contents.
