Meet the Masquerade Master

On my two alt toons, I still have the quest from last October, to meet the Masquerade Master. I can't abandon it. I've been playing my two alts more frequently, and it's getting frustrating because it's always being placed at the top, so the quest path always has me going to a travel gate. If I forget to move the quest I want to do to the top, or set a special quest path, I end up going out of my way, only to catch my mistake, and have to double back. Any way this could be remedied? Thank you.

That is odd. I'm not sure why you can't abandon that one. Have you tried setting it to "Force display" then if it takes that, reset to "Hide Display". It won't remove the quest, but it should remove the quest path for it.

I've tried about everything I can think of, and it will hide the quest path for a little while, but as soon as I finish a quest, or change zones, it's right back at the top.

There are a couple of quests that can not be dropped no matter what you try to do, and that is one of them. There is one in Icewind Dale and the other that I know of is in Dread Ring.

So I basically have to wait until October, when the M.M. is available, and go talk to him to clear this, If I'm following along. Lovely. I suppose I've lived with it this long, what's a few more months?
