Obtain a Companion special quest bug

So I created a character in Neverwinter for Xbox with the Knox's Adventure Recruitment Order and everything is OK except for the fact that I have a special quest that won't go away. It's the Obtain a Companion quest with the instructions for me to continue training with my companion in the Trade of Blades with Bael An Ashock. Only he is not in there and when I try to speak to him in the Grand Emporium, he gives me no option to complete the quest there either. The only option to select in the special quests menu tab is Goodbye! I know the only real burden here is me having to put up with seeing the stupid arrow on my screen all the time but I literally put hundreds of dollars into this game, I should at least be able to just clear this thing or something!

    Yea I’ve had that for about a year I doubt it’ll be fixed anytime soon.

    Thanks for the intel, Laroumus- I've got it on the fix list. Can you tell me, did you already have a companion slotted when you got the quest?

    I have this same bug and yes i did have companion already sloted from special promotion pack (wizzard companion)

    I have the same issue in regards to one of my characters and it’s one I also used the Knox’s Order with too.

    having the same bug using knox order except i’m on the ps4. i did not have a companion slotted when i first got the quest and slotting the companion does nothing.

    I don't remember exactly when I got the quest. If I'm not mistaken, I think I already had it as soon I I started because I used the Knox's Recruitment Adventure Order. Anyway, it makes no difference having a companion slotted or not or which NPC I try to talk to, the arrow will still not go away.
