I waited til today to try these boots. After the companion-loss bug patch.

I don't get it. The area to stand in is 1. Tiny 2. Appears randomly rather
than under you 3. Appears inside walls and other objects.

Seems like a lot of effort to make something new, something useless.
Can this be improved?

I'd put this in Bug Reports, but I can't tell if it's WAI.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

    I have also recently tried these boots, was quite excited by the description and extra protection offered, but as obsiddia so rightly says above the equip bonus is useless. why not make the area slighthly larger and make it appear directly underneath the player or slightly infront. then at least you might be able to use the feature.

    so, 4 years on, is this aggro thing being looked at, my party can't exit dragon hunt...
