Can't earn Lost Idols though I haven't yet reached cap

Missions no longer gives me Lost Idols though I'm still not maxed out in the cap (I have 124 out of 125 because of the uneven amount you get from other missions). This means that I'm going to be one short next week too so I can't complete the next mission in the journal before two weeks from now.
The extra mission - like the Escort Ghost - doesn't give Idols either now.

    Are you running with the tiger comp?

    I turned in a weekly that gave me only 17 idols due to the cap. Maybe a bug with regular or a specific quest? Try opening a map treasure chest for some idols.

    this has happened to me today as well not sure how, my cap is at 150 and i have 125 so far yet says i have to wait another 6 days and few hours to get more??

    No I don't have the Chultan Tiger (I wish I could afford that) and the game didn't tell me I was capped, it just wouldn't give me any more from missions. When I picked them up they Lost Idols weren't on the reward list and when I finished and turned them in, just to be sure it wasn't a visual glitch, I wasn't given any.
    I tried this with both the Gather Omu Tablets, the Purge Undead and the Gather Royal Caches missions. So it's not just a single mission either.

    To illustrate the difference. I did House of the Crocodile for the first time earlier that day and though the mission gives 20 Lost Totems and I was only 15 under the weekly cap I still got the Totems (of course I only got fifteen, but I did get them). So either HoC is the abnormality here or the Omu missions are. If it's the former maybe the game could tell me that if a mission affords more Lost Idols/Totems than you have left of your weekly haul you won't get any and that picking up those extra missions in Omu is a seriously bad idea.

    It should be working the same in Omu as it does for the Soshenstar quests. If I can only get 2 more Idols before being capped and select a quest that normally gives 5, the quest giver will say it gives 2. If I get 1 before turning the quest in (using the shrine empowerment) then I will get only 1 from the quest turn in.

    I assumed it would, but it didn't. Hence this bug report.
