Red Ice quest at Cold Run : Bugged?

Ok.. I've tried to do this quest 5 times or so..

Bug: when you finish the fight and get the prompt "Talk to makos"... there is no Makos on the boat.

Observation: last two fights, Makos just faded from existence about the 3rd or 4th giant and orc crew that jumps on the boat. he literally just fades away..

Note : am a TR ding this fight, with smoke bomb, Impossible to catch, and Path of bladess for encounters.

While not a show stopper in gaining rep with Bryan Shandar, it does block off progressing further in cold run.

    ok.. it worked on the 7th try.

    Not sure exact;y how, but I made sure to kill the last gaggle of orc minions before killing the last giant.

    seems makos grew a backbone then and stay around to make the ship fast.

    If it is the same bug that I've had, he can actually be found on another ship. This is only partially useful to know because you can't join him there.
