Can I only have 1 map opened in my inventory?

got my 1st one the other day... opened it... map in inventory.
got a 2nd one today, but when I try to open it I get an error message in red saying " You already have all of the items in this package"

    you can only have 1 map in your inventory at one time (1 somi map, chult maps you can have a lot at one time), map in a bottle (the item that holds the Somi maps) you can have many at once. so the answer to is no, you cannot open more than one if you already have one in your inventory.
    Maybe I was born with it or maybe I'm a frozen banana.... bad joke, I think so >:D mwahahaha

    Are you on xbox nshanny? I have all of the somi map locations memorised so can direct you straight to them if you don't want to use a website picture.
