    Very odd I have completed this Quest and received the round knife. I know of several others who have as well

    According to this, https://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Round_Knife
    the round knife can be obtained from "Making the Round (Leatherworking)".

    According to this, https://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Making_the_Round_(Leatherworking)
    the quest is proceeded by "Don't say his name" and followed by "Beauty is Only Hide Deep (Leatherworking)".

    Obtain a forge hammer and level it to the max. It can be used as any crafting tool including a round knife

    Yeah, like a forgehammer is the easiest thing in the game to obtain...

    Un bound is hard to get. During the challenge of the gods event I saw 3 drop in my small alliance. Thay can be found.

    Drop rate is akin to a legendary mount from a lockbox.

    Do you have any statistics on the drop rates of bound vs. Unbound?

    I agree with you, they're very useful. That's why I suggest participating in events where they are known to drop. it's not guaranteed for you to get one however the more you participate the more your chances go up.
