Let me be blunt. Checked all my connections & ISP. Yet the game is now consistently crashing. Can't do anything without the server dropping connection & YES IT IS SERVER SIDE. Fix this!!! It has steadily gotten worse since maintenance on Tuesday.

You realize if it was truly server side, there would be many more posts addressing this. That there are not would tend to indicate that the issue is on your end. I've had no such issue, just some increased lag in Twilight Tor.

I haven't noticed any issues either. Maybe it's your Xbox? Is it sitting in a well ventilated area so that it's not overheating? Have you tried doing a hard reboot of your Xbox?

For me it has been surprisingly stable. A couple of minor rubber bans and couple times the frame rate dropped. I expected more problems and am pleasantly surprised.
My Xbox One has issues pretty often actually. Sometimes can not sync data with Neverwinter. Sometimes I get kicked out of Neverwinter and need to delete the data off my Xbox then it all works fine. Sometimes it is Xbox and restarting the Xbox makes everything ok.
Btw I do have some issues with Xbox but I play other games on the Xbox One and none of them have the number of issues that Neverwinter does.
I know it is Xbox One and Neverwinter because when it goes down I bust out my PC and play games with no problem on my PC over the exact same internet connection minus the Xbox One / Neverwinter.
Yea I know the routine. Arc blames Xbox...Xbox blames Arc....they both blame my Internet Connection even though I am playing other games on my PC with no problem.
It is why every new game I play that I intend on spending money on does not go through Arc or Xbox One.
Oh btw the server seems to be down now. Can not find any maintenance issues.

Most people I know do not troubleshoot their game at all. They just move on to the next game. Most players I know in RL or thru the internet really only start to look into the problem if their entire internet is out....no games...no smart TV....no netflix....then they look into it.
The only reason I look into it is to improve my general troubleshooting knowledge. I rarely post even then unless I can add something constructive to the discussion.

Wasn't the change a one time solution? So now every maintenance for Xbox One will be going on Thursday instead of Tuesday?

No, last week it was due to other issues. This week it was due to Christmas. It should go back to it's regular Tuesday schedule either next week (January 2nd) or the following week (January 9th). I will try to get a more accurate answer.

The unpredictable server down times is actually a very small thing that just happened to bring me to the boards while I was looking for why the server was down. It was obvious from the message I got it was already known. Was hoping to find a eta for up time.
The fact still remains this game has enough issues above and beyond any other game I play to be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd worst game with issues I play. At that point the next game would be a Steam game in development.
I dunno why the OP is having problems. It may be something that can be fixed or it may be something I have seen. This game does have issues and anyone saying otherwise is straight out lying or not presenting reality in their posting for whatever reason.

Except it is not the same connection. When using an Xbox, unlike a PC, it must first connect to the microsoft servers and use them and the route from there to connect to games. So, the route is your ISP, Microsoft, Game with the various hops in between. On PC, you take a much more direct route (usually). Your ISP, Game. In addition, you have added another piece of hardware subject to its idiosyncrasies.
You don't usually need to delete any data to get the Xbox working. After any major changes or updates, do a hard reset (Unplug the Xbox) also do this when you notice performance issues on your end, like the glowy line disappearing, loot not illuminated, etc.

Yes, it does. But, on the date the OP was posted there were no such problems on a large scale. The information given to him was more likely to help him (trouble shoot his Xbox) than giving no feedback at all.
