Sea of moving ice help

I have enough bryn shander reputation to open sea up in the campaign however the quests in sea do not give rune fragments. I have done quests up to the point the frost giant ally leaves the area. Have i missed something that allows tbe quests to start giving rune fragments?

    Runic Pieces are rewarded from all the daily and weekly quests in the SoMI. I seem to recall there was something to click on that was not super obvious the first time, maybe the get a kayak or something, just talk to all the NPC and take what they have to offer.

    You need to continue doing the Intro quests until the Storm Giant ally returns. Then the quest "Royal Allies" will be available, and after completion, the dailies and weekly that reward Runic Fragments will be available.
