do heart of the dragon artifacts have to be legendary to be able to use as a feeder.

hello I was wondering if heart of the dragon artifacts have to be legendary to be able to use it as a feeder. I had one last night at that level and was able to role it into another artifact. but my wife tried today with her epic one but it is not showing up as a feeder for her. so can it only be used as a feeder at legendary level.

    Heart of the Red Dragon is literally unable to be used as a feeder, no matter the quality.

    Every other Dragon Heart can be used as a feeder, regardless of the quality.

    ok cause from everything I have read and seen is that none of the heart of dragons could be used as a feeder according to everything I have read.

    ok hold on I have had the green one for over six months and I was just now able to use it as a feeder and it has been legendary for 3 months. so that must of been a recent change. since I have tried in the past to use it as a refinement and it never showed up in my inventory when I tried. so did that just change or what.

    The red one was the only one that could not be used as a feeder. There has been no change that I am aware of.

    Just adding on that prior to the key changes, heart of the RED dragon could only be obtained by individuals who purchased the Dragonborn pack. It can be claimed/reclaimed by individuals who purchased this pack. As a result of this, the heart of the RED dragon cannot be used as feeders as reclaimable items cannot be used for refinement (note - class sigils). Otherwise individuals would be able to use it in a continuous loop for feeding into an artifact. Logistically, it's probably difficult to differentiate between the ones obtained through a drop vs. ones reclaimed.

    And as @rjc9000 said, every other heart of the dragon artifact can be used as a feeder regardless of the quality.

    Also, we on PS4 have another double refinement coming later this month and so I would advise you and your wife to hold off on refining and feeding artifacts/gear until then. With the only exception being feeding a weapon into a weapon. The exact date can be found under upcoming events in the calendar under the social tab. I would encourage you guys to save up your refinement until then :smiley:
