R9 Terror

I have a R9 Terror and at least on my SW it does not seem to improve my dps at all....

Do any of these enchantments work at all.....enchantments are meant to improve your dps the terror does not do that....

So a question will this thing work on other classes I have a OP, DC, CW.....

or should I just sell it for what I can get.....

This game has so many bugs....

it does other stuff as well as give a percentage of of extra damage to your target..
testing mine out on my HR trapper and I don't mind it too much as far as damage goes it didn't seem all that better or worse than T.flaming.. it will probably go back on my Pally for the buffs it gives

looks like my OP will get a R9 terror....as long as I can tank I don't think anyone will mind how much dps I do....

In the mean time what do I use on my on my 12k item level SW main.....

Is A fey any good on dps.....??

from what I've seen I need a vorpal or dread but either of those options will take 1000000 ad to buy.....

Weapon enchants depend on your build and class. Sorry to break it to you but, if you want better DPS on your SW, you're going to want to go with a Vorpal or Dread. Your build will dictate which you want. I believe a Fey can be used if you're building a templock but not positive and it doesn't sound like that's what you're doing anyway.

There's a reason Dreads, Vorpals, etc cost way more than others. Most DPS toons use them. If all the enchants boosted your DPS equally, everyone would be rocking transcendent Lifedrinkers or Bloodthefts or whatever other trash enchant there is.

Terror improves your DPS. But not by much on SW.

I would personally just pool your money together to buy or make a Feytouched, since Feytouched is good on all but 4-5 specs in the game. You can just pass the Fey from character to character and save money from having to buy seperate gear.

you made some interesting points....but they don't work for SW....SW do so little base damage that its not possible to get a increase in dps with the terror at R9, A r12 has about 20% more extra dps....

I'm not explaing it very well but every melee class has higher base damage so they will get more dps than either CW or SW out of a terror R9 or better....

for example I did Kessels I was the only person not using a alt, I also had the highest Item level of just over 12k...most of the other players where around 10k or less all of witch had purple gear and I had seen at least one fey enchantments as far as Remember no dreads or vorpals....

Most of my gear is still purple but I got my weapon to max ranks a few day ago, my crit was 11.6k (boosted to 65%) and my armor pen is 4.3k (52%)....

I have working really hard for the last few months to improve my stats and so far I feel I have wasted my time....

guess where I was on the pain giver......second last.....the only person who had less was so under geared they most likely had just enough item level to get in kessels.....

I know what I think....I think that some of those guys could have taken out there enchantments and still do more dps than me....

so yeah my sorry tale....

Fey scales with power, so it's only worth it on higher power levels. Until then, vorpal or dread are the best for SWs, because I think most of your abilities don't proc the weapon enchants. Eg, 2 similar classes - GF and GWF. Holy avenger is the best for GWFs, but nowhere nearly as good on GFs. On GFs, vorpal or fey is still best for DPS.
Besides, SWs are getting a rework in M13, so there's that too. Just be patient, you'll get your buffs.
And the only melee class that actually can run terror as a DPS enchant is GWF. GFs can't do jack with it. It works on pallies due to its buff/debuff. TRs and HRs also don't get jack HAMSTER from it.

The only thing you can do is go on preview and buy the enchantments there, and test them out yourself. That's the only way you can be certain.

I'm not sure what you think doesn't work for a SW? I'm also not sure if you misunderstood me. I am not advocating for any terror enchantment on a SW. I pretty clearly said go get a Dread, Vorpal or Fey depending on your build. Terror is not an option in my opinion for a SW.
