Various Lighting effects disappearing after random amounts of time

I am posting this here at the request of the various customer and tech support people I have spoken and worked with, in the hopes it gets more attention and can finally be addressed and fixed. At random times while playing (anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours) various lighting effects will either begin to fade and disappear, or just stop showing all together. these include the glow around item drops, the guide trail, various spell and skill effects, and even a majority of environmental effects. The cause of this, no one seems to know. It has been attributed to having setting too high for your system, the wrong kind of Anti Aliasing set, to even just overhating of your CPU or GPU. None of those are the cause, from what I can tell, and from what the support people I've spoken and worked with can tell. Mysystem is more than capable of running on full settings (Asus GL Strix 753, i7 7700HQ, GTX 1050 ($GB dedicated Ram, 16GB DDR4, running on solid state NVMe drives, temps don't go over 80 degrees), I have the issue happen even if I turn use the lowest of all graphics settings. A supposed fix that I had heard, and heard others mention, was of course, exit out the game, restart and reverify files, and re-launch. and yes, sometimes this seemed to work, onlt to have everything happen all over again, making this not really a fix, as who knows if it's actually doing anything. At this moment, all I have been told I can do, is leave this bug report, hope people have notice, and, while put very nicely and politely, was to basically deal with it till it becomes a big enough issue to take a priority in being fixed. I will say, I love this game, I have loved DnD since I got my first Red Box as little kid. I will continue to play the game, and reverify files every time this happens in the hopes of getting a few more dungeoun runs in while the effects hold out, but I will say a lot of enjoyment has left when this occurs, as spending half my time running around searching the ground to locate my needed loot, or that one item I've been waiting to drop, is not how I imagined spending my time. I understand that there are bigger issues for the devs and the coders and other to work on, some to keep the game up and running at all, but something that affects our enjoyment of the game, even just the "pretty factor", is important, when it is a selling and advertising poijt in the game. Ok, I've complained enough, I suppose, back to reverifying files for now. While I am sure others out there know what this is all about, here is a sample pic for those that don't, showing the glow around dropped items gone, https://1drv.ms/i/s!AvQlWy6GrP-WmXU1lqZ6XspHqEhK

Same issue here with varius configurations, Nvidia and AMD graphiccards had this Problem.
it happens after a while of playing game, not at start. mostly it could be temporary fixed by just restart game to have same problem at later time again.Hear from my guldmates that they have same Problem. its not at same time for all in group, so seems that this problem is correlated to pc state, or weather outside.

It is an ongoing issue. Has been for a while.

I just wanted yo update, now to mention that this issue happens at least once a day/per login. Anywhere between 15 minutes and maybe a few hours, and I have to exit the game, restart and verify files in order to bring the effects back. Spoke with support and was informed that the issue was being looked into, and I ge the impression not just from the forums, but from others in game this has been an issue for quite some time. I get the feeling that not much will be done about this, as it doesn't technically break the game in anyway, unless we make a bigger deal of this. While I will still play, and yes, I still have fun, it doesn't exactly encourage me to spend money on a game that I have to restart frequently just to get to work completely. If this was an issue with my computer causing the problem, I wouldn't be concerned, and wouldn't feel the need to rant about it, but that not being the case, well, here I am ranting. :)

Just wanted to add a screenshot just in case the other one I had doesn't work. And yes, still happens frequently. Really need to look into this.

It has been happening for over a year now and gotten worse since the requirement for DirectX 11 back in the Spring. The general consensus seems to be that the bug occurs after too many server queries, especially calling up too many graphics FX, the memory cache fills up. I'm not great on the technical side, but I can say that repeated trips to Icewind Pass, Ballad of Baphomet and the Siege event map will trigger the bug rapidly. Otherwise it may take hours for it to trigger.

I believe the game has a mechanism to downgrade graphic detail when it thinks the system/network/server cannot complete the graphic request within certain time threshold. After it is downgraded, it seems it cannot upgrade it even if the condition is improved.

I concur. It only happens to me after, for instance, doing a big HE with lots of effects going off all at once. Heavy load seems to be a factor.
