(Underdark) Interlude: Biding Time

The quest tells me to obtain Tales of Adventure. I did it with daily but the quest didn't complete.

    You talk to Bruenor and accept the task. Then he will send you off out into the world somewhere as another task. Do that task and turn it in, then the first task can be turned in.

    It isn't a one-time thing. First break is 5 days. Second break is 10 days. Third break is 15 days.

    Maze Engine takes a month if you do it daily. You can't grind it all out in a day.

    The quest tracker normally shows how many days until the next story quest. You go 5, then 10 then 15 then done. However, the quest tracker changed after Tuesday's patch and it no longer shows your progress. Meant to report this but no time.

    Anyway, you can check your status by looking at the campaign page and your current Tales of Adventure count shows up in your currency tab. If you just started, you will need 5 Tales. When that is done, there will be more story quests.

    There are no quests involved in completing the Underdark campaign... it's a little confusing, since they both work out of Mantol Derith, but Maze Engine has quests, then dailies, more quests, more dailies... etc... until it's complete

    After you get Underdark started, you just feed it Ichors every day, kind of like Dread Ring, but simpler and with no actual quests needed to advance

    There are a couple of the dailies for Maze Engine that will take place in the Underdark, but most will send you out into other zones to fight demons and steal demonic ritual supplies there

    Once you have done enough of those to have accumulated the correct amount of Tales of Adventure, you can complete that Campaign Task and do several more quests which will each reward a Tales of Adventure, so when you are done with the questing part, you can complete that task and move back on to more dailies

    The areas in Underdark other than Mantol Derith that "unlock" only come from the Maze Engine questline, not the dailies
