[PC] Server login timeout

Is anyone else getting a lot of server login timeouts when switching characters? I get about 2-3 for every character change. Internet speed is measured at 27Mbps download and 2.5Mbps download.

    Since a very few days I also have A LOT of these timeouts while connecting, or switching characters. I'm on PC and have a pretty good internet speed. Very recent problem but hugely annoying.

    Timeouts/hangs etc. are most likely have to do with the amounts of hops between your PC and the server.
    Not your internet speed/bandwidth...

    It's like driving from LA to SF via Houston, TX, instead of direct driving up the coast... the speed wont matter then, you are still getting to SF faster driving slower up the coast then going 200mph over Houston...

    who is to blame: mostly your ISP, the DNS setup (try setting your DNS to that of Google DNS: 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 respectively)...
