mount insignia bonuses

Hey quick question.
I recently changed wonderes fortune for protectors friendship.
The difference between the two insignia bonuses are annoying.

Dawn Unicorn...
Wonderers fortune had 3 slots, regal, illuminated and a universal slot totaling 180 ili + stats.

Blue ribbon pig...
Protectors friendship only has 2 slots, regal and barbed, why do we loose a slot for a better bonus?
Cant they just make it a 3 slot like most other bonuses so we dont loose the extra bit of stat

    Isn't the dawn unicorn epic, will the blue ribbon pig rare?

    Yes the unicorn is epic and the pig is green, i looked at mount insignias on the website that shows what bonus goes with so and so mount.

    I just dont see why the better bonus is restricted to lower mounts aka 2 slots, shouldnt that be a 3 slot epic version

    Use Protector's Comraderide, three slot bonus. Rare, epic and lengendary mount. 3x bonus of Protector's Friendship.

    Whenever your summoned Companion attacks, you gain 3% of your Power and Defense for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 4 times.

    Ok dude sorry i might be getting it a bit wrong here.
    The mount insignia bonuses i am using are...
    Shepherd's devotion
    Champions return
    Protectors friendship
    Protectors camaraderie
    Gladiators guile

    Is there a 3x slot version for the friendship one or wud it be better to just scrap that one alltogether?

    Any sugestions as to what would be best to switch it out for, tact gf sw, thanks

    Protector's Friendship - Whenever your summoned Companion attacks, you gain 1% of your Power and Defense for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 4 times. Is a 2 slot insignia mount bonus. Common (green) mount.

    Protector's Camaraderie - Whenever your summoned Companion attacks, you gain 3% of your Power and Defense for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 4 times. Is a 3 slot insignia mount bonus. Rare, Epic or Legendary (blue, purple or orange) mount.

    Protectors camaraderie is the 3 slot version of friendship. So, you already have it. If you want to double up with both versions, you will lose a 3 slot bonus, your choice which one.
