2X Icewind Dale Campaign Currency

in Player Feedback (Xbox One)
If it is 2X Icewind Dale Campaign Currency, and Sea of Moving Ice is listed under Icewind Dale, then WHY are we NOT GETTING 2x Currency in Sea of Moving Ice? Riddle me This, Arc?

    Well played. Unfortunately, you're using logic. That's a big no-no.

    On the other hand, the reason could be something as simple as, "Well, we know SOMI is a horrible experience so we figured no one would be running that during 2x IWD, much less ever again.".

    I guess that while SOMI takes place in Icewind Dale by location, it is not technically part of the Campaign.

    I have to say that your answer is the one that would make the most sense, and probably the one the Arc would attempt to give as the reason for 2X Currency to not be issued there.

    It's the reason they have already given. The description of the event specifies IWD campaign. It says "complete any quests in the IWD campaign zone and you will earn double the usual currency rewards"

    Yep that's essentially it - SKT and IWD are different campaigns that take place in the same region - a bit like Underdark and the Maze Engine that both partly take place in the underdark.

    As such, an event offering IWD Campaign currency would not cover STK.

    In the same way that the Icewind Dale Campaign Completion pack offers no quests, boons or currency from the Storm Kings Thunder campaign.
    It's campaign, not region.
