Good healer?

Considering what healers are better then others.
Looking to acquire a good healer from the auction.
Does well in healing, fighting and defending.
An all around good healer.

Battlefield medic is a good one and you can get one during the upcoming Siege event. Even if you don't get one, the price will drop in the AH during the siege. Llilend is probably the next best choice.

Angel of Protection, although a weaker healer, is also a good choice if you are looking for a companion to keep your character alive. The other skill more than makes up for lesser healing.

Have you tried the Experimental Alchemist? I seem to remember thinking he was a trip to have along. He pelted people in the head with rejuvenation potions. So not an instant heal but more of a HOT and he got everyone standing in an area. I recall he also did damage. He might be pretty cheap to pick up. I guess it depends on how much healing you need. As a Pally I wouldn't think you'd need all that much healing.

A good option too, but lower class, Lizardfolk Shaman.

I find the Apprentice healer to be one of the most annoying companions in the game vocally, so I've never really given it a fair test. In general, none of the better healers do damage, so the active bonus is the tie-breaker.

The Alchemist Experimenter someone else mentioned is one of the few that does damage, but I find its healing too unpredictable.

Silky, I main a paladin (14.7k), what's your item level and I guess you are protection path? The reason I'm asking is because a prot pally shouldn't need a healer companion and it'd be a shame to spend AD fixing the wrong issue.

A Dev Pally should need healing even less... so I assume they are protection path.

Harper Bard is the best Leader in the game as a companion IMO. He does more than any other companion. He gives you a bonus to HP, buffs your stats and heals you (not sure if he does this or not, cannot remember off hand). But he is the best IMO as a companion if you are looking for a Leader companion.

After that, if you want a decent healer the one you buy with Gold is decent and not expensive at all.
